We are inviting you to participate in focus groups to discuss your experiences with difficult dialogues in the classroom. Focus groups will last 60-90 minutes and take place in Communications 298, the School of Communication Studies’ Message Effects Lab. The sessions will be audio and/or video recorded for later review and transcription by the research team. Identifying information will not be included in any of the transcripts. The university’s institutional review board has approved this research study. You will be asked to read and sign a consent form immediately prior to the start of the group, and will have an opportunity to ask the co-facilitators questions about the focus group.
