Adobe Lightroom: Organize and Edit your Photos like a pro

Lightroom is an image management and editing application from Adobe. Using Lightroom, users are able to work through their images sorting and organizing making them easy to find when needed, editing the look of the images, and finally sharing on the web. Attendees at this workshop will be introduced to the application interface and learn the basics of using the application.

Adobe Photoshop: Improving your Photos

In this class, participants learn to use masks to protect parts of an image from change, just like using masking tape to paint a room or a vehicle, or using a stencil to letter a sign. Students also learn to retouch photos. They will learn to remove unwanted objects from a picture, change a gray sky to partly cloudy, and brighten the colors.

Microsoft Word: Formatting for Resumes

ONLINE, SELF-PACED: Getting Started in OneNote

OneNote is a Microsoft application designed for taking notes and gathering information on any device. In this self-paced course, you will learn how to use OneNote to take notes more efficiently, collaborate on note taking, and more. We will dive into how to set up OneNote for your specific use, as well as give you the necessary steps for continued use of the program. This course will also give you tips and best practices.

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • create and organize notes in OneNote.
  • export and share notes.
  • collaborate asynchronously and in real time.
  • work with tables in OneNote.
  • add media objects, such as audio recordings and video, and Excel files to notes.
  • integrate OneNote with other Microsoft apps.
