Student evaluations and anecdotal comments indicate that students put a premium on clarity, organization, and consistency when it comes to online course sites. Many considerations go into designing an online course. For example, what types of and how much course content to include, when and how students are expected to access and use the materials, and how students should complete assignments, participate in discussions, and engage with the instructor and each other. This session will provide design ideas to encourage a consistent, positive, and quality student learning experience.
