In this workshop, you will explore how to use SAS for analyzing categorical data with exact methods. We will start with Monte Carlo exact chi‑square tests for sparse tables, then move on to Cohen’s and exact Mantel–Haenszel tests for blocked or longitudinal data, exact logistic regression for small cell counts, and the non‑parametric Friedman test for non‑normal repeated measures. The methods covered in this workshop will help you identify the right test for your data, run it in SAS, and present the results with confidence.
