Fall Training 2025: Empower Your Skills with OIT Supported Technologies

This workshop introduces faculty, staff, and instructional support teams to Panopto, UT Knoxville’s video content management system. Participants will learn how to record, upload, edit, and share video content, as well as how to integrate Panopto with Canvas to enhance teaching and learning. The session includes practical demonstrations and time for Q&A to address common challenges and best practices.

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Navigate the Panopto interface and understand its core features.
• Record and upload video content using both the desktop app and browser-based tools.
• Edit videos to improve clarity and accessibility, including adding captions and slides.
• Organize and manage video files within Panopto folders and metadata settings.
• Share and embed videos in Canvas courses with appropriate permissions.
• Analyze viewer engagement using Panopto’s analytics and interactive features.
• Troubleshoot common issues and know where to find support resources.
