Foundations & Befriending AI: Part 1 of the AI Alchemy: Beyond Prompting Masterclass focuses on building a grounded foundation for working with artificial intelligence. Participants will examine common fears, myths, and misunderstandings about AI, learn a clear conceptual model for how AI systems work, and explore why ethical responsibility and human judgment remain essential. The session includes guided discussion and hands-on exploration through a “Befriending AI” exercise, allowing participants to try safe, reflective interaction for themselves and share observations. This session is designed to reduce anxiety, build confidence, and establish a shared language for thoughtful AI use. No technical background is required.
