Limited submission opportunities can seem opaque, confusing, and challenging to navigate. This session will provide a behind-the-scenes look at how the University of Tennessee manages limited submission opportunities and help participants gain a clear understanding of the process. Topics will include what qualifies as a limited submission opportunity, how opportunities are identified and shared with faculty, the process for expressing interest and participating in internal competitions, and how internal review and selection processes are conducted. The session will also introduce Nominateapalooza, UT's annual internal nomination process for select external fellowships and awards, and explain how faculty can engage with these opportunities.
